What to wear this Summer| Clothing material

Summer wear is meant to be light flowy and everything nice (fabrics).

With summers slowly reaching their peak, the question of the best summer fabrics becomes important to many people.

So now, more than ever, people want to know the kind of fabrics that will help them remain cool and comfortable from the heat.

Here is our suggestion on a few light and breathable fabrics which will keep you cool (or as much as possible) and comfortable in the sweltering heat of summer weather.

1. Cotton: It is one of the most breathable fabrics. Perfect for all climates it can be worn in in dry heat or humidity, too. They are soft, fluffy and lightweight fabric is perfect for the summers and can help you keep cool. Its natural fibre allows air to circulate & move freely through the fabric. In short, it’s like a built-in air conditioner for your body!

2. Rayon: Rayon is best to be worn in dry heat.Rayon has very thin fibres making it great for delicate, lightweight clothing that drapes. It is light and avoids sticking to a body in hot weather. Since it is so comfortable and cooling to wear, rayon makes a good fabric for sportswear and summer dresses.

3. Chiffon: A great choice for summer chiffons are sheer fabrics, ensuring that heat doesn’t overwhelm the wearer. They can be styled and worn in many ways, making them very versatile. A very elegant fabric, chiffon is perfect for your summer dresses or evening gowns to do away with uncomfortable summer weather.

4. Mulmul: Today, mulmul is widely available and is not as expensive as it used to be. Ideal for the hot Indian summer, its soft feel against the skin and its gossamer, lightweight quality is what sets mulmul or muslin apart from its counterparts. The fabric readily absorbs moisture and keeps the wearer cool making it one of our favourite picks!

This summer, don’t compromise on comfort because of fashion. Know your fabric and choose it intelligently to look your best while feeling your best with Moyra.
