Fashion as an industry had always intrigued me since childhood. The fact that a certain sense of styling and fashion gave people so much confidence and happiness, always amused me.
My journey to fashion is rather different from most of the other designers with no formal training in design or fashion. The only element I had with me was the penchant for styling and how it can really make a difference in how people feel and look.
After graduating from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and then going on to holding a Masters degree in Marketing, I worked with a start-up company in fashion, thereby securing some experience to tread on a different road, carved for myself.
MOYRA was born out of my curiosity and love for fashion and how it positively affected the livelihoods of so many people associated with it. Launched in June, 2019, MOYRA offers a varied range of Indian and indo-western clothing that’s equal parts chic, stylish, practical and free from stereotypes of the mind and cultural conditioning.
Our motto is to bring Indian fashion to all sorts of people of all races and nationalities so that they can identify themselves through it. I want to make Indian wear easy and comfortable to wear for all age groups and highly recognizable in the world fashion industry.
Power dressing today is about being individualistic. It’s time to rethink, restyle and re-imagine a millennial woman’s wardrobe.
